Why 9-0-For The Culture? Why did a group of black creatives dare to launch a new entity in the midst of a $1.84 trillion national fiscal deficit? Why us and why now? Because we are tired of seeing significant places that represent a diverse cultural experience go unprotected. We are tired of seeing black communities disengage with one another. We are tired of seeing the lack of investment in black-owned businesses by consumers of color. So, we decided to change it through Culture, Community & Commerce.

Black-owned business owners matter. Black communities matter. Period.

904theculture is a coalition of Jacksonville's top creatives of color in the Marketing, Production, Entertainment and Commerce sectors. This Black-owned organization is dedicated to advancing the quality of culture-based entertainment options within Duval County.
